World Cafe- Death, Dying & Bereavement: Sept 15th

Join an unusual interactive event designed to create healthy and important conversations about death, dying and bereavement.

About this Event

The power of conversation is so invisible and natural that we usually overlook it. Once we become aware of the power of conversation as a key process in all aspects of our lives, we can use it more effectively for our mutual benefit and to create a living network of collaborative dialogue around questions that matter in service to real work.

This World Café event hosted by huunuu will be focused on the topic of death, dying and bereavement, a highly misunderstood topic in current society. You will be placed in a small group and presented with a series of thought-provoking questions. You will then have the opportunity to reflect on and discuss this question with other attendees. The key elements of each conversation will be captured (anonymously) and then shared with the wider group for further reflection and discussion.

The World Café is built on the assumption that people already have within them the wisdom and creativity to confront even the most difficult challenges; that the answers we need are available to us; and that we are Wiser Together than we are alone. This enables us to see new ways to make a difference in our lives and work.

World Café conversations are based on the principles and format developed by the World Café, a global movement to support conversations that matter in corporate, government, and community settings around the world.
