Ryan, who is just 15 years of age, has been a voluntary police cadet with Essex Police for nearly 2 years now and has become an integral part of the Cadet Unit in Harwich. He has been an active member of the unit, helping to build community links in the town, working on projects to help local vulnerable people and commemorating those who sacrificed their lives for us to live today. As a valued member of the police family we are fully committed to doing everything we can to support Ryan and his family at this very difficult time and to show him that the town of Harwich is right behind him in his battle to fight cancer.
In order to support Ryan we are holding a Quiz Night at the Park Pavilion in Harwich on Friday 28thFebruary, during which we intend to hold a raffle in order to raise as much money as possible. Cost of entry is £5 per person and we advise no more than 6 people per team. The entire proceeds of this event will go towards supporting Ryan in any way possible and I am therefore inviting all Community Safety Partnership members to enter a team (or two) and join us for a night of fun and money raising! The bar will be open and you are invited to bring some nibbles along.
You can enter a team by emailing Pc Kirsty Lucas at [email protected] or if you would like any further information then please don’t hesitate to contact me on my mobile 07812064925 or email at [email protected].
