For November 10th Remembrance Sunday 2019, we would like to let you know how NE Essex will be marking their respects for those who gave their lives. Please do support the parades so that we all continue to remember the sacrifices our people made to bring peace.
The Remembrance Sunday service at the War Memorial on Colchester High Street will start at 10.45am.
A parade will march from the war memorial to Moot Hall in High Street to meet Mayor Nick Cope.
Members of the public are invited to join in a parade and service marking Remembrance Sunday in Clacton.
On Armistice Day, Mayor Cope will lead a two-minute silence alongside on the steps of Colchester Town Hall at 11am:
The annual Remembrance Parade will begin from Clacton Town Hall at 10.25am on Sunday, 10 November.
Led by the Colchester Scout Band, dignitaries will take a salute before the procession goes through the Town Square and down to the seafront war memorial.
A service, beginning just before 11am, will be led by Reverend David Lower, with hymns accompanied by the Salvation Army Band, and a silence.

The Witham remembrance service will include the traditional parade followed by a service at the War Memorial
The parade leaves The Avenue around 2.40pm and the service starts at 3pm.
The route goes from The Avenue, up to Collingwood Road, round to Newland Street and up to the memorial.
