Val, our qualified Chiropodist, has supported those in later years across three venues including Abbots Road, Lion Walk and now at the new home of Age Concern Colchester. Val offers a friendly and supportive service that keeps feet healthy and with this her clients safely looked after. Cal takes bookings directly. Go on treat yourself!
We welcome you to be a part of the Age Concern Colchester family, filled with laugher, new friendships and copious amounts of tea, coffee and cake! Our coffee morning has been running for over 40 years, and all of the proceeds help to keep our services in the local community running. More recently the Friday Coffee Morning has been joined by the Wednesday and Monday Coffee Mornings too.

Keep Fit is a great way to stay active and build friendships. The friendly Keep Fit groups run on a Monday, Wednesday and a Thursday and cater for people of all abilities. Everyone usually stay for a coffee and a natter too.
Hoy is an alternative type of Bingo and is thoroughly enjoyed by our attendees. The group is as much about friendship as it is about the game of Hoy Bingo and whether you are competitive or not you will find a friendly group who welcome newcomers to join in.
Come on in and join the fun! Whether you are a needlework expert or just want to make new friends and enjoy a good chat over a cuppa, we meet every Tuesday to knit blankets and miniature hats for the Innocent Smoothie Appeal. All of the proceeds go to our fundraiser that helps to keep our services in the local community running. Last year we made 27,000 hats!
Christina has taught Yoga for many years and runs specialist classes for those in later years. Having taught for 8 years at Lion Walk Activity Centre Chrstina has moved across with her classes to Age Concern Colchester. The classes are generally booked in 6 week slots and Chrstina operates a waiting list if classes are full.
The Technology Club is a group of individuals who want to learn more. No two group sessions are the same and the idea is that individuals learn from a volunteer with more technology experience than themselves. As time goes on people learn from one another. A welcoming and friendly group where conversation is relaxed and the experience enjoyable.
